Phase one of loading the new cabinets is almost complete. Ron will install the sliding glass doors on the largest section today. Unpacking the dolls also unpacked over twenty years of memories…most made me smile, even laugh. Some were bitter sweet. Funny how even an insignificant looking little doll can bring a flood of feelings. 
I thought for a few minutes that I would not have room for all of the littles (those under 16”).
They must have multiplied while they were in storage! 
The dolls that have been loaded are on permanent display. They will probably not leave the cabinet unless they leave the property. The Gene and other 16” gals will not be on permanent display. I have lots of ideas for the displays. Stay tuned for those in the summer. 
We are experimenting with the lighting. The two lower center displays have tiny LED light strips. I like the amount of light and the effect. We will be installing these in the Gene section, the center section, and where needed in the 6’ section. 
A sincere thank you to everyone who shared ideas on how to create the ideal cabinet. So far, I am VERY happy!
