I think a lot depends on the type of vehicle you are looking for. For instance, my son purchased a new Yamaha Blaster from Vincennes, IN. They beat the price quoted from Thompson's by $400 over the phone. He returned to Thompson's hoping to get the same deal. They told him "I guess you should go to Vincennes". So he did! There were no tricks, hidden costs, etc. They sold for the price they had quoted. Since, he has added over $1,000 in accessories and performance parts. Guess where he goes to get them. Bloomington has two dealerships that seem to be really customer oriented. Bloomington Powersports and Bloominton Harley/Buell/Aprillia. My best advice is to choose (after looking at all of them) what you want, what fits you and your needs, then spend some time and some gas and visit all dealerships in the area for the one that offers the best deal and the service you desire. Good luck in your search. Remember, if you are a new or a relatively inexperienced rider (or even experienced) take an MSF Rider Course. they are worth the money and the time. There are 14 training sites in the State of Indiana. Good luck in your search!
