
Posted by Dave Wyatt There are message boards on there as well. One thing the old CB750's are known for, is oil seepage at the base of the cylinder head. This is caused by oil seals deteriorating with age. It's not an expensive repair parts wise, but just somewhat difficult. Another area of concern is the cam chain tensioner. The rubber on it gets hard with age and can come loose. Other than that, if it runs good now, it should be relatively trouble free for a long time. The bikes do have some shortcomings as far as comfort and handling in comparasin to today's new bikes, but they will hold their own resonably well. Many spares and accessories are available on e-bay as well as traditional outlets. Prices vary depending on the bike, so find some comparable bikes and see what they are selling for. Happy Riding,
