you are right. 6k is the schedule for valves, the rest of the service are simple things that we can do at home. consider these individual comparisions, from the same article.
on the duc is 3.0 hours=$180 + $71.60 in parts / the 919 is 4.0 hours=$240 + $97.76 in parts
919:$34.28 parts and 1.5 hours
duc:$39.80 parts and 1.0 hours
??don't know anyone who takes 1.5 hours to change 4 plugs or even an hour. these are some expensive plugs.
919 1.5 hours
duc: 24.95 +15 labor
919: 29.95 +18 labor
duc: 33.05 + 15 labor
919: 37.09 + 30 labor
