Are Polaris ATV's Junk?

I have been looking for an automatic ATV to do some work around my land, pulling a small trailer loaded with wood scrapes and waste, and to use for hunting. I have talked to a bunch of my buddies at work,and some say that Polaris are junk. Is this true? There is a dealer near me, but I would like to buy a good used one.
