Posted by MIke I currently have an Enfield (Moody in Kokomo) a 750 ACE (Thompson's) and a Ducati 620 Monster (Sindt in Dubuque Iowa). I would reccomend Moody without reservation, very easy to work with and want you to have a good time with your bike, hard to find in Kokomo - but great service advice and worked with me for a deal and made me feel like they wanted me to buy from them. Warranty problems and or parts are done right and right now. I called for oil filters and they were sent without payment just a check sent back from me for payment. That's trust. I have called for advice or ideas and talked to the owners/mechanics and staff. I like them. I bought my ACE from Brendan while at Thompson's he matched the deal I got from the Dubuque bike shop. However, no free first service- no big deal (oil change etc.) I do my own anyway. Chad has always given me a decent price on any bike I have asked about. I have been told by other riders that the sales people do not always pay attention to prospective buyers and have lost sales to other shops for that reason. (Julie and Steve) Lookers turn into buyers if approached right or if given answers to questions. However, none of us want to be "hovered" over while looking, Ask and you get is my feeling. I have also bought many many many bike parts and accessories from the parts desk there. My wife says thousands of $$, the reciepts prove her right. Always the best in service from them, they will help you look for that weird part or the newest item from a magazine! That I like!!! The service department- I have had some trouble with getting warranty work and they recently returned a bike covered in fingerprints and spilled gas. And nearly empty too. It was 3/4 filled when it when went in. I have bought three other bikes from Bob T. in private deals, he has helped with any parts or such. I have bought five bikes total from Sindt in Dubuque, two new and three older collectibles. Almost got the Ace there too, if the deal wasn't matched. Got the duc there a month ago, called Gary, set up the price and WHAM, picked it up the next weekend. Sindt Motors, a family owned business who was one of the first honda dealers in the states. They sell all brands, Ducks, Hondas, Yama and Kawa to Triumphs, Wings, to snowmobiles. The prices to me have ALWAYS been below MSRP without haggles or hesitation and any (I mean any) problem has been addressed NOW. I had to return the duc seat cause it had a small tear on it, 4 days later a brand new one was delivered-without question. Sindt appreciates older bikes and collects them too. KNowledgable, motivated and interested. They ride bikes -all kinds and I have even seen them at a bike show and they remembered me. imagine that. Getting to dubuque is a longer drive but the savings have been worth it. (my inlaws live there so it can be a weekend trip) Call gary at Sindt. Attitude is easy to talk about, a bad attitude is easy to see, but hard to show. Tried to go to Flat Out in Indy yesterday, must be out of business. wanted to check out some duc stuff. Glad you asked. Mike Link: http://www.jawv.org

Hey, I shop arround, since I would never buy a Harley, that cuts out the local TH shop. However, they carry some items that will work on the rest of the bikes in the area and have been very friendly with that type of part/accessory.
