Posted by Howboucha Events Aprilia will have the Falco, MIlle, Futura and Capo Nord for the registered and paid track day particpants to demo. Below is the basic information posted at www.sportbiketracktime.com Sportbike Track Time - The Experience It's all about the Experience. The thrill of riding on a racetrack. No cars, signals, driveways, cops, radar guns, gravel, double yellow lines, or other distractions....just the pure joy of riding! It's you and your motorcycle, on one of the America's most popular racetracks, having a good time and honing your skills in a safe and controlled environment. It's the ease of showing up at a professionally run event where we have thought of ALL your needs. No baloney sandwiches and stale chili here. Sportbike Track Time events are a cut above in every aspect. No...our track day experience won't be for everybody. We are not a racing school, nor are we an "open practice" session for racers preparing for their race weekend. There are plenty of opportunities for schools and practice session for those so inclined. We cater to select individuals who want to have a quality experience while riding....just riding...at their own pace...fast or slow, without the stereotypical "squids" making unsafe passes or worse yet running them off the track. But are racers welcome? Of course. We just want to make sure that everyone understands that our focus is to make sure that ALL our guests will have an appropriate group in which they can be comfortable, from rank novices who have never been on a track to professional racers. The Sportbike Track Time Difference At a Sportbike Track Time event, you are greeted with a well planned and well executed event at some of the America's best venues including Gingerman Raceway, Grattan Raceway, Putnam Park, Road America, Mid Ohio, Second Creek and Talladega Gran Prix. Breakfast? Of course. It's on us along with a steaming cup of coffee. You don't have to worry about getting up at 6AM to catch a bite before the event. Lunch? Right again. A thoughtfully planned sit-down eating experience. Water and Gator-Aide? We insist. In fact, not only do we insist that you drink plenty of water or Gator-Aide for your own safety, but we provide every guest with chilled water and Gator-Aide to drink between every riding session. So what do we need from you? A desire to be treated well and provided with the best track day you've ever experienced. What makes us happy? When we complete a successful event and our guests tell their friends "those guys at Sportbike Track Time thought of everything!". That's our mission. Listen to our rider's comments..... "Thanks for the outstanding setup. I think overall the performance and assistance of the staff was awesome." Andy - Westland, MI "Absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!! That about sums it up. It was the BEST experience I have EVER had at a track event. Thanks a ton for a great day guys!!!" I received lots of instruction and tips and I can see the improvements on the track...Oh yeah, the service and the food was also excellent!" Mark - Palantine, IL Spend a day with us... 7:00 AM - Gates Open Enter the track, sign the venue's liability waiver at the gate. 7:15 AM to 8:00 AM - Registration & tech inspections Meet us at the registration area to check in and be assigned to a riding group. Turn in your liability waiver and any last minute paperwork to us, get your bike and proceed to the clearly marked tech inspection area. Get your inspection sticker, and enjoy a quick breakfast and cup of coffee or juice. Talk with the staff photographer about getting some good shots, or maybe talk with the tire service about putting on some fresh tires during your riding day. DO NOT FORGET to check your tires' air pressure, since settings for the track will differ from street settings! 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM Track Walk This is for all beginners and anyone else unfamiliar with the track to go out and learn the lines that you will be riding. 8:50 AM - Rider's Meeting This meeting is mandatory for all riders. As you finish your breakfast, we will brief you on the track conditions, general rules, flags, and a recap of safe track entry and exit. We introduce our instructors so you can pick them out. Immediately following the rider's meeting all beginner group guests will have a mandatory meeting with our instructors for more in depth instruction. 9:00 AM - First track session The sessions will rotate in order of Advanced, Intermediate, Novice. During each session, those riding in the next session should gear up and be ready at the marked grid entry at least 3 minutes prior to the start of their session. 12:00 PM - Lunch Break Meet us at the registration area for a great catered lunch. 1:00 PM - Special Session This is a special 15-minute session for two-up riders and female riders only, with a limit of 25 bikes out on the track. This is a great experience for spouses and friends who came with you to the track to get up close and personal with the track! 5:00 PM (depending on venue) End of Day It's time to pack up and head home, or better yet camp at the track (where available) or a nearby hotel where you drop your gear and meet us for dinner, where you can hang out with our team, have some fun, and get ready for the next day of riding!
