The Indiana man, who's name wasn't available Monday night, was riding south with a group of friends around 7 p.m., troopers said. He turned to signal to his friends and as he turned back, his motorcycle hit the parked pickup. The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle, troopers said. He was in critical condition Monday night at Halifax Medical Center Monday night. Earlier Monday, a New Smyrna Beach man was taken to Halifax in serious condition after a scooter accident on the South Causeway in New Smyrna Beach. A preliminary police investigation found Albert H. Risen, 58, Mary Ave., was riding west near the intersection with Richmond Drive, shortly after 3 a.m,. when he lost control of his scooter. He was thrown from the vehicle and suffered head injuries. Police do not believe he was wearing a helmet. Risen was taken to the surgical intensive care unit at Halifax Medical Center, where he remained Monday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Kate Holcomb said. During the first three days of Bike Week, which began Friday, 13 motorcyclists have been admitted to Halifax with serious motorcycle accident-related injuries, Holcomb said. Five of those riders were wearing helmets.

I have heard a rumor about this, but I do not have confirmation. Below is an article from Daytona's newspaper about an Indiana man that was injured. I have heard that the reported Tuesday crash is now a fatality. I will post any info as soon as I get it.
