I have a QH/X gelding that has navicular. He was on supplements and did well with no shoes. I was able to take him off the supplemnts this summer but due to it getting cold he has started to be lame again. I just started him back on supplments so in a couple weeks he should be riding sound. Would not say he would be sound at a canter but does well at the walk. I would rather do a free lease (with contract) for as long as you wanted him and if he didn't work out I would take him back. If you want a full discription of him please feel free to e-mail me. I am in Rising Sun MD so not sure how far away you are. ddpaints2000@yahoo.com
