Leap of Faith (Mary) is a 14.1h, 20 year old, chestnut welsh/tb cross mare. She is mostly used as a hunter/jumper pony and competed on the A circuit in 3ft and up children's/pony hunters in her younger days. Recently has competed at C-rated shows in hunters and local shows in the jumpers and has placed. Does training-1st level dressage and schools cross-country. She has been in pony club for the past 14 years and taken her riders from their D-1's to C-1's. She is still capable of jumping up to 3'9"- 4' but would be more comfortable at lower heights (under 3ft). She is child safe and had been used for pony rides. But she would be better for an older child or small adult as she can be mareish and sometimes strong. I am 5'4" and have no problem riding her. up to date on vaccinations, stands for the farrier, no stable vices, quiet on the trials, bombproof in the barn, trailers well, very sound for a 20 year old horse. Great for someone looking for a well trained hunter pony at a low cost or could be a quiet companion/trail horse. Has been well taken care of and will last many more years. For sale because I am going to college and cannot afford two horses. Priced at $5,000 o.b.o. Free on/off (if local) farm lease but rider would be expected to pay board and other expenses. Email me for pictures.
