I recently bought a beautiful bashkir curly mare for my husband, who is a (confident) beginner. She stands 15-15.1hh, and is stocky built, with a beautiful long mane & tail. She leads, loads, ties, and stands well for fly wiping & hoof care. Sadly, she is too much horse for my husband to handle. I have ridden her bareback & with a saddle, and have tried both a curb bit and a snaffle. She rides about the same with either of them. She would make a great endurance horse, and loves to go go go. She has also had foals, and is a great mother. I am selling her because we need something much quieter for my husband, and would like to find her a great show or endurance home. Please email lydiajk@pctcnet.net for pics & info. This mare is a very sweet horse on the ground, and is easy to handle...she just needs an experienced rider to get her back into riding. I am open to offers or trades for a younger curly filly, or older quiet curly mare.
