If he is palomino, he carries the genes ee for redfactor (sorrel/chestnut based) and one cream gene. The grullos in his pedigree are black based horses that carry the dun gene, but he apparently didnt inherit black or dun from them, so it's irrelevant. If he is a palomino then he will throw 50% palominos and 50% sorrels when bred to sorrel mares. Bred to black mares (not homozygous for black) he would throw 25% sorrel, 25% palomino, 25% black, 25% smokey black. Bred to bays the percentages would be close to 25% sorrel, 25% palomino, 12.5% black, 12.5% smokey black, 12.5% bay, 12.5% buckskin (that's if the bay mare is heterozygous for black and heterozygous for Agouti). If he's palomino he won't "throw" grullo or dun foals, the only way for him to sire a dun or grullo foal would be if he were bred to a dun or grullo mare.
