depressed horse(what do i do?)

i bought a barrel racing paint horse about 4 months ago.he has been really great up untill about 4 days ago, he isnt eating very much(even if there is grass and hay avalable) and he seems to just float arround the pasture with the other horses only he just stands there instead of eating.
