His genes will have and has done good things to improve the Setter breed to make them more competitive in stiff competition. : : : :

I saw him run and I thought his performance was spectacular - 6 or 7 finds, a covey find, a divided find, perfect manners on every find,and strong ground race. Congratulations to everyone involved with this dog.

He no longer has a high tail on point but still does a fast running walk with a buggy whip and still has a nose that can find them in these arid conditions.He is good for about 2 - 1 hour hunts and than spends the rest of the day in the truck napping on the back seat as his 6 year old daughter Jenn pulls duty. The days of turning up the tracker and going and getting him in the next section are now by gone but he is still able to walk faster then the average dog runs. Enjoy them and relish them all that you can while you still can as their days with us are so numbered and short. Take care and keep killing birds for the old boy!
