Here's another puppy from Bob's litter...... however this one isn't for sale!
We were out yesterday pheasant hunting and limited out early, so I went back to the truck & put my older dog up and took Bodhi out for a roll. This pup turned 13 weeks old this past Monday and was running edges! Thank goodness I had a bell on him as even though I put my gun away and was only carrying a whistle, it was tough to keep up on foot.
This pup is super smart, wants to be to the front, but will stay with you. He's marking a flushing pheasant when I took this picture. He pointed it, I flushed it & the little bugger stood there through the entire thing..... I couldn't believe it. I only wish I had my blank pistol to complete the sequence. He eventually bolted in the direction of the bird, but I got him back.
Anyone looking for a well bred, intelligent pup should contact Bob- no regrets whatsoever on my part.

I hope Bob doesn't mind me posting this picture on his behalf- afterall, he's the one who sent it to me after Ernie Saniga sent it to him.
Tess is a full sister the four dogs on the right in this picture and daughter of Ch Bulltown.
From left: Ch Bulltown (Sire, at 11 years old), PA Shooting Dog of the year winner Annabull, Purina Winner Ch. Our Big Bully, 2X Futurity and major circuit winner Avalon Creek and Ch Klees Handsome Hank, (all littermates from the breeding of Ch Bulltown and Impressive Lady Sue).

I am now home after driving 800 miles in about 18 hours (short break for a 3 hour nap and about an hour to conduct business) on a trek that took me from Boston to cape May, NJ and back.
I consider myself fortunate to have been able to acquire a pup from this litter (Male, L/W). "Bodhi" is now sleeping on the couch with my oldest son and our 3 1/2 year old female GSP.
I was able to put my eyeballs on 10 of the 11 pups from this litter this morning. I can honestly say that the difference in size, health, spunk, social IQ & general awareness from #1 through #10 is negligble. The only pup I didn't see was the all white male taken by Mike Penn- who apparently was a looker too!
I put a 3 Generation Picture Pedigree together for Bob as a token of my appreciation, he suggested I post it here for all to enjoy. I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks to Ernie Saniga, Roger Dvorak, Dom Priete, Scott Crawford, Cliff Miles & Dean Lord who all supplied pictures to me- without them, this doesn't get completed.

Great idea and very unique. Some tremendous individuals in that pedigree. I hope your pup is everything you want it to be.

Re: CH Great River Ice X Prison Break Tess(full sister to CH Our Big Bully)
Andy, I'm relatively new to Pointers, but I did do considerable research and my homework on this breeding prior to committing to acquire a pup from Mr. Baals. Here is what I was able to discern:
On the dam's side: The dam, Prison Break Tess is out of CH Bulltown x Impressive Lady Sue. These Dog's have been bred twice for a total of ~13 dogs. Tess's full brothers/sisters include: CH Our Big Bully (Purina Shooting Dog of the Year), CH Klee's Handsome Hank, Annibull (PA Shooting Dog of the Year) & Avalon Creek (multiple Open Shooting Dog placements). "Sue" is owned by Roger Dvorak and Roger has been fairly successful in his relatively short time in breeding Pointers.
Sue's Sire, Richfield Bodidlee, had at least one Shooting dog win on the Amateur side and multiple Amateur placements. Open wins/placements are not known (by me).
Bodidlee's dam, Richfield Susan (all these dams are named "Susan") was a 2x Shooting Dog CH. Her first championship was the National Amateur Walking Shooting Dog Championship in Oct. of 2002 held at Greenwood Forest, NJ (52 starters). Her Second championship was the Region 2 Walking Shooting Dog Championship in Oct. 2003 also held at Greenwood Forest, NJ (30 starters). Open wins/placements are not known (by me). 'Susan' was owned by Rich Guiliano.
Impressive Lady Sue's dam is Crossroads Sue (yet another "Sue"), whose sire is Mrawsum, at least a 5x CH/RU CH in Open Shooting Dog competition. Mrawsum's accomplishments in 1998 alone included:
- South Carolina Open Shooting Dog Champion - New England Open Shooting Dog of the Year - New York Open Shooting Dog of the Year - National Pheasant Shooting Dog Champion
(not a bad year!)
Then, 5 years later in 2003, Mrawsum was named the winner of both the Keystone Shooting Dog Championship as well as the Atlantic Coast Shooting Dog Championship. He qualified for the Shooting Dog Invitational Championship3 times.
My fingers are sore from all this typing, I hope folks find this information useful.
