There are a few treatments out there just check out the internet. :

Dunno if that helps but a local vet might be able to figure out the percentages. Harry

Is there any sticky substance coming from this area. A few years back I had a mare that looked like that with things I asked about and she had canker. Very difficult to treat, but was able to clear it up with a prescription product from university of florida vet called phycofixer.
