Well, looks like the cat is out of the bag now!
I've been doing some investigating of my own on Bob. He sounds like the real deal! Apparently those guys in Kansas (Don Kimble, Larry Hedge, Wayne Powers)...to name a few, know how to work together and have come up with some great setters over the years. Quik Fairway Bob is a prime example.

: I was braced with Quik Fairway Bob and Don at
: the wild bird trial in Hill City, KS this
: April and Bob did a nice job there as well
: on wild spring pheasants. If you don't know
: how hard those are to handle, try it some
: time.
:
: Bob was named second and my Dozer dog
: (Greypointe Hasta Lavista) took third so it
: was a nice brace in big open country. These
: are grounds that a shooting dog has to
: stroll across to look good.
:
: I also reported the Region 17 Shooting Dog
: Championship and rode every brace. Bob was
: a worthy Runner Up Champion in a 42 dog
: stake at the Oliver Ranch in the Kansas
: Flint Hills.
