"When you break a bird dog on wild birds it is like killing two birds with one stone. He is developing at this stage of his life.
He is learning to handle birds run and hunt which at this time you can judge if he is even worth breaking. If he dont back natural find more than his share birds and all it takes you might be better off selling him to a hunter.
If he has all the qualitys like speed range endurance and intensity he just might be worth the time.By running him alot he will develope muscle bone breathing capasity style running and on point. He will become your servant to do the best job he was intended for.Great dogs have always been developed in the field hunting When you see a great dog you better believe hes had the H worked out of him and on alot of wild birds."
What does any of that have to do with your statement that dogs broke on wild birds are more stylish than dogs broke on libbies?
