I'm not confusing Intensity with style. I've been working dogs all my life I do know the difference and what I like to see. Nice pointing style is great, but intensity is awesome. Give me the dog that's skin is quivering, or his eyes are about ready to pop out of his head, with a little less than picture perfect style, over the dog that has excellent posing type style, but is standing there because he was trained to. This was what was king when I was learning 30 years ago and when I judge, it is what I really want to see. Sure you need good style, but if the dog has great intensity he is the one I'm liking on point.
