cinch galls

Recovering from another cardiac "event" but more on that later. Anybody other than me had a problem with cinch galls using a trooper saddle? I've never galled a horse using a good stock saddle and mohair cinch. I loaned a young fellow who needed a horse to train with one of mine, and he came back with two fairly severe cinch galls.
