Thanks Bob.

Actually it is a little embarassing to report that this is his first CH. He won Runner Up Champion in the NBHA Open Invitational in 2010 and had knocked on the door a BUNCH of times in other trials.

He qualified for the finals in several national trials including the NBHA National Amateur two years in a row and was top dog in qualifying for the ABHA National Open Championship last year.

Also, he crashed on his ninth find at Region 8 in Oklahoma last spring even handling a woodcock in a creek crossing for his fourth find. After getting his first hour placement in the NBHA Futurity, Max has six or seven more one hour wins in Classics, etc. walking and horseback. He's a good dog with a mediocre handler and trainer - ME.
