i recently purchased a beautiful sorrel stallion.
the woman who owned him didnt know much about his past and had only had him for a year.
he had been ridden but not by her.
I was planning on gelding him but only if he was able to be ridden. He allowed us to put on a bridle and saddle and even lets me climb on him bareback.
but when it comes to moving...that's another story.
he refuses to move forward, and a crop makes him throw a fit.
Any suggestions or ideas on what i should do next,
others have told me to sell him instead of gelding him and buy myself a nice trail horse, but he's so beautiful i just dont know if i could do that.
any advice would be apreciated.
thank you
