Weston Park International Three Day Event

Last week I had a great four and a half days at Weston Park, Staffordshire, England. It must be the busiest 3-day event anywhere. There were four events running simultaneously with over 300 horses competing, which is said to be a world record. Overseas competitors came from Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and the USA.
On cross country day there was a horse starting even two minutes at least, sometimes one every minute, for eight hours, with just a few minutes’ break during the change-over from the one-star course to the two-star course.
