I adopted Cayuse in November as a weanling. To make a long story short, we bonded, he gave me his complete trust. He was/is easy to work with. Accepts new situations, new objects, etc. with curiousity, not fear. Cayuse was seriously hurt and had to be in the hospital (Equine Hospital in Sheridan, Wy) for 3 weeks until his wound and the infection in it was under control. He's home now and he is a wonderful patient. he's cooperative and the trust he gives us is heartwarming. When his wound heals completely, he'll have to have an operation on fetlock joint to fuse it, so he will be painfree and sound. I couldn't put him down when the accident happened because of the relationship we developed. His medical cost are very high. The Cody Enterprise, here in Cody, Wy. did a story on him. I am asking for any donations...any amount, as low as $1...to help me raise money for his upcoming operation. I need help despertly. Can you help?
