Equestrian trails at Del Valle Park

The East Bay Regional Park District has announced its intention to open equestrian/hiking trails in Del Valle Park (Livermore) to mountain bikers. The trails are too narrow to accomodate bicycles trying to pass horses, and there are many bends where there is no visibility ahead or behind the trail.
The district is currently accepting comments from the public on the plan. Write to rbreines@ebparks.org.
