Yes I have one living in next door apt. She had no animals--thank goodness! But she once livein in another apt here & there--it was not clutter--it was FILTH !! Rotten food just sitting in grocery sacks on the floor--meat ect--never put away. She hid out in there for months. When the manager accidently got in--oh my !! Kitchen stove was ruined --fridge was ruined. Cost the landlord a bundle to get that apt liveable to re-rent. BUt get this--he knew it was a mental problem--felt sorry for her--moved her to another clean apt & said dont ever let this happen again. Well shes better--here its not filth --just mostly clutter, The one dirty thing she still wont do dishes for weeks at a time. Got wrote up once & they refused to pass her apt for inspection because of lots & lots of dirty dishes (considered a health hazard ) & also so much clutter on floors --no clear path to get in & out--was a fire hazard. So she does a little better now --so she dont have to move. She has weekly help from a govt organization now. The apt is not as bad but far from what most of us consider --Normal.
