HUC Reminder......

Dave sent me this, so I thought I would post it here as well.(see below)

HuskerUltralight Club will meet at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28 in conjunction with Aurora Municipal Airport fly-in. Breakfast 7-9:30 a.m. is free to fly-ins. Barbecue lunch 11a.m. -1:30p.m. Ultralights welcome. CTAF 122.8 Field elev. 1803 feet. There will be important
discussion about the proposed flying field west of Grand Island, so all members are encouraged to attend.

Upcoming events:
This weekend, June 14 & 15 "100 Years of
Aviation" celebration, air show, fly-in at fairmont State Airfield.Ultralights must fly below 500 feet AGL within 5 miles of the airport, use only Runway 12-30 as diagramed below, are prohibited from flying noon-6 p.m., and must stay away from approaches to runways 17-35. Obey all Part 103 regs.and check NOTAMs.Mandatorypilot meeting west of the south T-hangar following the air show. For
free admission, bring your ultralight and HUC
membership card. Bring lawn chair but not coolers. Check club Internet message
board for the latest news.
July11-12-13 David City, NE Annual Nebraska Ultralight Gathering (and HUC meeting 3 p.m. Saturday). Food, free prizes, raffles of Garmin e-trex Legend GPS receiver, Comtronics helmet, Kuntzleman Electronics strobe, windspeed
indicator, windsock, etc. Free camping, showers.
If anyone is able to haul the club trailer to Fairmont this weekend, please contact Hugh Martin right away: 463-6255.
