JULY CROSS COUNTRY
July 13&14, 2002
On 7/13 I ( Michael Pearce ) flew to Aurora to join Dean Sombke, Larry Elrod on a cross country trip that would take us to such faraway places as Lexington, where we were joined by John Richardson, then on to Ogallala, Imperial, and spending the night in McCook where we dined on prime rib with John and his wife. Larry and I spent the night in the motel while Dean slept with the bugs in the park. The weather could not have been much better. After fueling in Holdrege Sunday morning we split up and went different directions home.
