National Weather Service, located next to the tall TV tower just north of Hastings

NWS radar will be discussed and we will have a personalized tour of the NWS office/operations by Mike Moritz after our business meeting. Bring your weather-related questions.

[1] Call to order, President Larry Elrod,
Introduce visitors and new members.
[2] Minutes, Les McHargue
[3] Treasurers report, Les Mc Hargue
[4] Old business,
[a] Larry Elrod,
Discuss and vote on tabled motion to change club name to HUSKER FLYING
CLUB, and keep the “HUC” emblem as our trade name identification

Discuss bank account arrangements and Federal ID number
[c] Lee Meents,
Discuses HUC web sight, what recommendations, etc.
[d ] Any other old business from floor ?
[5] New business
[a] Dave Nissen, program director, or sub.- Larry Elrod, pres. Discuss Planned
Meetings for May, and June, and possible events for of 2012 reminder of
year.
Steve Zigelstien, or Larry, discuss possible HUC meeting and participation
with the Grand Island airport 75 year anniversary celebration on Saturday,
September 22nd
[c] Larry Elrod, Discuss, we are in invited to set up and man a information
Table at the Central City and Aurora fly in events.
[1] we would need to assemble a HUC information brochure as a
hand out piece to do this.
