Dear All,
I Have stumbled over this site by accident while looking for help regarding Crail Airfield.Recient plans unvailed by local government are putting a dark shadow over the sites future of which I am extremely concerned. I grew up not far away from Fife and spent alot of time on the former airfield. I want to voice my support for its long term preservation and wish to get in touch with anyone who feels the same way or indeed anyone who was stationed there.Can anyone help?
My brother is hoping to compile an archaeological study of some of the most significant buildings, working closely with National heritage to record existing structures before they are lost.Lets hope we can do something before the best preserved wartime airfield in Scotland is lost for future generations.Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thankyou
