I think U R correct Anne. I was a passenger on it on a weeks leave from Malta to Sicily...for rest & recreation. I remember how inexpensive it was to stay at TAORMINA at that time. Cigarettes were the main item of barter, & each morning I had a shave by a barber!! The cost was 1 cigarette!!!! For a whole week. it cost me 2 cartons of Players cigs...Which were quite cheap in the first place.
