I am researching into the history of R.A.F.Drem,East Lothian,Scotland. The airfield was also used by the F.A.A. in World War Two who referred to it as H.M.S.Nighthawk. 784 night fighter training squadron was based here for much of the war and a number of other squadrons also deployed here.I would be very interested to hear from anyone who served at H.M.S.Nighthawk or who may have information on the FAA activities here. Most of the official FAA records for this base are missing.
