Hi Ian,
I wrote to your grandfather, Harold Smith in New York over a year ago, but never received a reply from him.
He originally contacted me, with a photo of my dad in Sham Shu Po POW camp, Hong Kong, taken in 1945.
Your grandfather patrolled the POW camp with my dad.
Could you please ask your grandfather to contact me again. He has my address.
There is a group photo, which includes your grandfather on the 812 & 1850 Squadron Personnel pages.
