Could this be you?
1. A sailor on HMAS Vengeance (while loaned to Australia) during 1954/55 escorting the Royal Yacht Gothic during the Queens visit to Australia.
2. Met a lady in Perth/Fremantle April 1954
3. She travelled to Sydney and met up with you later that year.
4. A special night (perhaps at the 'Farewell Ball'?) March 1955
5. Departed Australia with no further contact (I believe) with the lady...
I am only searching for answers to gaps in my family history
