WELCOME to the H.M.S. VENGEANCE Message Board
Posted by David Brown Today, reviewing my internet 'Favourites', I If anyone were to ask me "how does the Association market itself?", then there is only one answer - Ron Davis' website. I was therefore shattered to find within the website that attempts were being made to debar Ron Davis from his associate membership - on grounds that can only be described as dubious in the extreme. A few years ago, while still in business, I needed a website of my own and I am therefore familiar with the enormous problems involving time and effort that a decent website demands. I believe that the HMS Vengeance Association receives these services from Mr Davis without reward other than the pleasure he derives from The Committee makes the point that the Association came into being without a website and all credit must go to them and the founder members for breathing life into it; but I doubt its ability to continue without a website as we My advice to the Committee? In 2002, having retired at 75 to complete my autobiography, I went looking for HMS Vengeance on the internet. I found this excellent website and that day I posted my application to join the Association. I attended the 2003 reunion.
Unfortunately, my arthritis took a severe turn for the worse later that year. In early 2004, knowing that further attendances were unlikely, I nonetheless sent off my subcriptions for 2004 and 2005 which remain unacknowledged; so I'm afraid my subscription for 2006 remains unpaid. Although now in arrears, I still consider myself to be a Member.
found that the Vengeance website had gone from strength to strength and that as regards content, clarity, design, ease of navigation it was very close to top spot among the 50 commercial websites that I access on an almost daily basis.
recognising the contribution his father made

shillings from some merchandise then I say "All strength to his elbow" - he deserves every penny he gets.
