Roy Riddington did go into the army ,I last saw
him about 1980 in Leicester ,I have not heard of him until I saw your E Mail, but I am not sure of
the place near to Alice Springs, where I saw in the
Leicester Mercury (a local newspaper) that his
father had died at that time.
