Why must Jesus die for us?
Isn't suffering everyday for ourselves enough?
I don't want to be guilty for the suffering of the innocent, I don't want to be responsible for the death of Jesus, and everyday when I'm reminded of this by religion, I feel as if he has died yet again.
Why do we celebrate the death of our most beloved teacher, and leader?
Why do we celebrate the death of a man that taught us to love our neighbors, and turn the other cheek?
Why does Jesus need to be a sacrifice on the altar of religion, hasn't he suffered enough?

: My answer would be yes, for even if the
: bones of Jesus are found, it is not proof of
: him not being our saviour. Jesus is the most
: relevant and blessed of all spiritual
: masters. He has lead us to try for a world
: of love, and spiritual understanding. Jesus
: embodies all that we should hope to
: become... even if the stories of his revival
: after his death on the cross end up being
: more spiritually true than physically. Jesus
: is alive in us now... let us not forget
: this.
