Why is the school board not telling the public how they are spending money. They have open meeting but NEVER tell what they are spending money on. IT'S ALL COVERED UP. 2. They hired people and don't tell the cost of the new employee or who they are. HIDING MONEY OR TAKING CARE OF A FRIEND. 3. Why don't you let people know how and how much your spending money on bills? Your elected to make decisions on how to lead the district in making policy. My main concern is not the decision but on why you made them. I know it's a difficult position but let people know how you vote in public discussion. ALL OF THE HIDING LEADS TO NOT TRUSTING YOUR DECISIONS. Good Luck
4. Can't appointed a new board member. What's taking so long? Give it to the next person with votes. Whot's friend do you want? 5. Didn't disuses appointing new member in OPEN Session! What are you hiding? 6. "WHERE HAVE YOU GONE kATHY hAGNAUER" WE NEED YOU NOW!!!!! 7. "kING MATT", YOU WILL NOT BE MAYOR I hope the board would open up and explain things, Quit hiding and not telling the public. I am only complaining on how you do things so I AM AN EDUCATED VOTER ON DECIDING ON WHETHER I VOTE FOR YOU AGAIN.
Why is the school board not telling the public how they are spending money.
As a public body they are required by law to post their budget. They are also required to provide any information such as their paid bills.
They hired people and don't tell the cost of the new employee or who they are.
I believe all of their union people are under contracts and within those contracts are pay rates. As for non-union, they are required to provide that information as well. If nothing else, file a FOIA request and they must provide all information within, I believe, five days.
Can't appointed a new board member. What's taking so long? Give it to the next person with votes. Whot's friend do you want?
Ignoring your spelling and grammar, I will agree with you that the person who got the most votes would be the easiest, most likely and best way for them to fill a vacancy.
Didn't disuses appointing new member in OPEN Session! What are you hiding?
Again, overlooking obvious errors, I think you have a point here. I would not have thought those discussions could not take place in any meeting where the public was not in view. I don't think an appointed board member falls under the protection of "protected matters". I'd like to hear about that one myself.
"WHERE HAVE YOU GONE kATHY hAGNAUER" WE NEED YOU NOW!!!!!
She only left a couple of weeks ago. Apparently she had enough of public criticism. Who can blamer her? I believe they have a certain time period in which to fill the vacancy.
Quit hiding and not telling the public.
Their meetings are open to the public except during this pandemic. Have you ever attended a meeting? Now they do have certain legal opportunities to go into a private (non-public) session to discuss things like employee misconduct. The decisions they make in those sessions still have to be announced in public.
Is there something particular you're not hearing that you would like to know more about? You raised some interesting points. I would like to hear more.they did not fail, because they did what their country asked of them....
Their meetings are open to the public except during this pandemic. I don't believe they can just close their meetings during the pandemic. They still have to provide a way to attend electronically and the meetings are still under OMA and FOIA rules. If you don't read the papers, you're uninformed. If you read the papers, you're misinformed. - Mark Twain
I stand corrected Bob. I do think Pritzker shut down access by the public but they probably have video options. Years ago we watched the city council on cable but the sound quality was terrible.they did not fail, because they did what their country asked of them....
