Opie, here where we live we have to pick up the trash regularly or the wind will have it banked up against the fenceline. |
The trash stops here, lol, and it's been windy lately.
This is an issue pretty close to my heart, though, so I try to participate in most of the local organized clean-up events when I'm available. I even organized one, myself, a few years ago.
My husband laughs at me because I spend my holidays picking up trash on whatever beach we happen to be at.
And, even though I knew my road badly needed help from one end to the other, I was NOT going to go to the organized event and ask them to clean the street I live on. Appearances, you know.
