Eventually my generation and even the one behind me needs to step aside for fresh minds and leadership. Do these youngsters have experience? No, but how will they get it if they don't try? My "angry" friend from the watering hole conversation refuses to think one of these kids can govern.
Some of these young people are pretty sharp. They're in tune to today's education because they just went through it. Maybe a mixture of a couple of the youngsters with some of our older leaders is just what we need.
We shall see. Mrs. O voted today. I'm going down tomorrow. I many just throw a vote to the kid I talked to Saturday.
