The last few days have been tremendously busy...and I hope this reaches you.

I truly enjoyed the conversations. I think it's a reason why I could never stay gone when I said I would leave. I like thought-filled conversations on the issues. There were others who also were able to do it as well, but I always looked forward to what you had to say.

It's good that people have passion, that people have ideas, and that people still care about their community and country.

On national politics -- It was good to see conversations where we could see a contrast of ideas -- but a respect that though we see it differently, we just love our Country differently and see different priorities of what would constitute making the country be the best it could be. If only congress could do the same.

i think the best conversations I can remember having were the ones about Granite city. The ones who seem to care are getting fewer and harder to find -- but the thin line between a proud struggling community and total desolation is defined by those who still care.

Go into the sunset for a while....try it on for size..... and if it doesn't work out....just come on back and pick up where you left off.

    All the best!
