They are tanking, they dont have an owner that gives a damn if they win or not. This same guy supported the rioters in Baltimore, worried they would tear his stadium down, and his sons or even worse. Angelos loved Chris Davis so he bid against himself and over paid him by probably 50%. He wont pay Machado, but hes just dumb enough to hold him to the end of the season and get nothing.
Baltimore will suck more next season than they did this season, not much i can do about that. Ill just support whoever comes out of the East which will be the Yankees. It sucks, but thats all i can do. If St.Louis pulls off a Machado rental, i may actually hate them less this season.
