Good to hear from you. It will be no great loss if I cannot get this recip saw working because I just found it after 2 years...I did buy it at a yard sale for (I think) 2 bucks...case and all...and honestly forgot all about it until I opened the case last week.
I did look this saw up on the Internet and found that all of the missing parts are now obsolete...and now I suspect the pieces needed to repair were also obsolete when I bought this saw...but, thanks for your reply.

This was the sales lady's idea to try and find a used recip saw...and I think...it is worth a try.
