With the 80 game suspension to Starling Marte of the Pirates, the Cardinals road to being a wild card contender just got a little bit easier. Marte was the Pirates best defensive outfielder and a lineup catalyst. Peralta and Wong need to become bench players because that is really what they have become. Wainright will be lucky to win 10 games, but Lyons may soon be given a bigger role with the team. Over all i think the starting pitching will be ok, but the bullpen will continue to be a concern. Every team in the central has issues, including the Cubs.
