True that Dee. Baseball and the players are big business now. I don't blame Yadi for trying to secure the best deal he can. He's probably only got a few good years left so I don't know how much he'll bring from other teams.
However, this guy has been Mr. Cardinal more than any player since Willie McGee. I hope they can come to terms because I would love to see him finish here. He's still a great catcher by league standards and a class gentleman to boot.
Pujols went where the money was and while it hurt the team initially, they moved on and his career hit a wall. Great to be talking baseball though. Still my favorite game.
