John McCain walked the walk and talked the talk and he should know better. He has been vocal about the "failure" of the recent mission (planned during Obama administration by the way) in which a SEAL team member was killed.
Every military mission comes with the risk of death to the men and women involved. To say that a mission was a failure when 14 enemy soldiers were killed and intelligence was gathered is not only a stupid statement, it shows a lack of respect for those who died.
When Carter sent rescue teams to Iraq during the hostage crisis, two military helicopters were lost as well as numerous men. Their attempt was labeled a failure because the "mission" was not accomplished. Doesn't make the men who died any less of a hero.
Very disappointed in a man who was a POW himself and as such was part of an attempted rescue mission which "failed" because the prisoners had been moved prior to the raid.
Maybe it's just time for Trump haters to not try to give reasons for their hate. Just come right out and say, " I hate this guy", " I hate money ", " I hate his family ". Stop trying to rationalize and nut up. Trump won't give two hoops in hell and he'll continue to do exactly what he set out to do.
Oh and as for impeachment that I hear some snowflakes mentioning? A democratic senator interviewed on Fox last night said " we need to start focusing on working with the President and push him to accept some of our ideas". He went on to say, " there is no formal talk of impeachment and even if there was, a simple majority house in the house and a 2/3 majority vote in the senate is not going to happen." Bingo Senator. You understand basic math.
