I've been told that there is a motion that will be approved at the next meeting (Monday,tomorrow, 7pm), that will increase the number of paid holidays for township employees to two more than even the county employees get.
I remember at the last meeting Ms.Hanfelder asking for one more than the board has already previously approved for 2017 for her assessor's office, but now it will be extended to one more than that, even?
I hope this person was mistaken, but they're usually pretty well informed.
And what's good for the assessors office is good for everyone else who works at the township, I get that.
I can personally attest that they are sometimes already gone before the stated posted office hours, and it might be interesting to see what the time cards reflected for those days the office staff left early.
Anyone interested in watching them vote themselves and their family members even more cushy job perks than the county employees have, off of us, the taxpayers, please show up at that meeting!!
This is just more greedy, unmitigated gall by this administration, and it needs to be witnessed.
