Admittedly, when I visit I come in with an exaggerated way of expressing myself, perhaps more than I would in person.
But in a real way -- we need healing.
More later, I have somewhere I have to be for the next four hours....but if I come back in tonight, I'll write about it.

There must be something I respect in this community --- this is Granite City based and it's INTELLIGENT conversation. I am not saying that condescending now that I don't live there. I am saying it with Granite City pride.
Mike Bost would not be representing Granite City and Madison County would have shone bright blue --- if Granite City were listened to by the people who always relied on Granite City. True Blue GC quite frankly had nothing to lose to shed those deep-seeded loyalties.
I respect my hometown's intelligence.

Yes -- the only catharsis to be gained from this is to possibly work for that middle ground and a process of healing.
Those who are less than impressed with Trump are far from your run-of the mill spoiled whiners.
