Copy and paste from a response I gave somewhere else concerning my thoughts... not all, but a piece of my thought process.
We need to NOT repeat what happened.... you think I dont know what the hell he said? But you know what? Fix the message, win in 2018.
If you truly believe in our system, regardless of your feelings on OUR PRESIDENT ELECT, then you know that he will BE NEUTERED if he tries to do something stupid like deport Muslims, tell gay people they cant have the right to marry, etc etc etc etc etc..
You REALLY think he's gonna get by with that crap? And most of these issues are NOT Trump related, they are COMPLETE EMOTIONALLY CRIPPLED REACTIONS.
And instead of nutting the f up, were crying in our beers and acting like freaking children
Well, guess who wins in 2018 if we keep on?

Fix the message, because Liberals FAILED SPECTACULARLY in getting the message across to the common people.
NO, we looked down our noses at them and called them names when they didnt understand or expressed a viewpoint that was different than our "enlightened" ones.
Smart people need to rear in this conversation and we got to figure out a way to talk to the mechanics, the plubmers, the roofers... because we didnt talk to them, we talked at them..
