we bid on and recieved the job on a large apartment complex here in granite city. When we were signing the contract, I was told everyone would have to be paid $42.50 an hour. (prevailing wage), I opted out of the contract. I wasnt going to make any money on the job. Add workmans comp at those wages, health insurance, etc. I just went home and took a nap. It was going to be about a 2 month project where I would get a headache, not make any money. I just went out at night and collected aluminum cans, I came out better.
